Apart of being one of the major milestones on Nigeria’s way towards achieving the Millenium Development Goals, the lack of potable water is one the core threats to the lives and health of Nigerian citizens. Bloomberg says the
lack of running water killed more people in Nigeria last year than Boko
Haram, claiming about 73,000 lives, according to WaterAid, a
London-based nonprofit organisation.
