A 30-year old woman identified as Patience Ekukpe has been reportedly killed by her husband simply known as Henry.
The suspect is yet to be seen after butchering his wife.
Sources said the killing was as a result of unresolved matrimonial dispute between the couple.
The incident occurred at 19, Oloko Street, Eyean quarters in Uhunmwode local government area of Edo State.
The Nation gathered that Henry used cutlass to hack his wife on the face, arms and chest.
Edo State police spokesman, Osifo Abiodun, who confirmed the incident, said efforts to apprehend the suspect are ongoing.
