  Emerging reports suggests that a Nigerian man has assaulted Ugandan woman

– Investigations are ongoing, even as the stabbed woman is recuperating in hospital 

The Nigerian man whose name was withheld, reportedly assaulted and stabbed a woman from Uganda while she was having dinner with her friends at a restaurant in Bengaluru, India on Wednesday, February 10.

According to a complaint filed by the woman Shakira, currently residing in Kukkenahalli, the Nigerian national Osas went up to her and asked her to buy him a drink.

She asked whether he knew her, and the man slapped her and pulled a knife on her before leaving.

The police have registered a case and the investigation is on, even as the woman has been admitted to a private hospital in the city.
